The Reservations Sales Manager will supervise the team of hosts and
hostesses and will oversee all aspects of reservations within the restaurant to
drive restaurant sales.
Specific Job Functions:
Acts as Deck
Host for 30 to 35 hours/week, overseeing all aspects of reservations;
Develops and implements revenue management strategies in relation to
forecast;
Conducts forecast meetings with management staff;
Coordinates
marketing and sales efforts with with Special Events and Marketing;
Supervises all hosts and hostesses including interviewing, training and
development;
Maintains and updates all training materials associated with
the host/ hostess position;
Develops and maintains relationships with repeat
guests, areas businesses and local hotels.
Previous experience with a reservation management system;
Strong sales
background with the ability to manage and develop a staff;
Two (2) years of
experience working in a finer dining and high volume restaurant;
Working
knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
Ability to deal effectively with
guests, management, employees and outside contacts while working under pressure
and meeting deadlines;
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent;
Ability to
maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to B.R. Guest
standards;
Flexible schedule and ability to work varied shifts, including
weekends and holidays.
